In 2012, Connor was in 6th grade at Lincoln Jr High School when he noticed a lump on his right hand.  A biopsy confirmed a diagnosis of Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.

In early October of 2017 a CT scan revealed the disease had progressed and our family received the devastating news there were no known curable treatment options left.  Connor passed away peacefully on February 13, 2018 at the age of 17.  He battled this disease for more than five years with an incredible amount of strength, courage and grace.

In honor of Connor, the Naperville Central High School Athletic Booster Club is pleased to offer a Scholarship on behalf of Connor Hunt a former Naperville Central Redhawk. It is established to assist students as they continue their education.
